About the position:
This position serves as the Assistant Program Manager to the Project Leader, for the CVPIA’s Anadromous Fish Restoration Program with responsibility for decisions relating to scientific fishery resource management and restoration involving the Anadromous Fish Restoration Program and the San Joaquin River Restoration Program. The incumbent is responsible for coaching and mentoring junior staff as well as working closely with nonprofits, federal, state and county agencies to develop and implement investigative projects, scientific field studies, budgets and negotiation of interagency agreements, grants and contracts. This position is supervised by the Deputy Project Leader.
