Sierra Valley Preserve Land Steward – Feather River Land Trust
LOCATION: On the Sierra Valley Preserve in Beckwourth, CA
COMPENSATION: $20/hr. -26.50/hr
EMPLOYMENT CLASSIFICATION: Full-time hourly position, Nonexempt
SUMMARY:
We are looking to add a team player to our Land Stewardship program, which oversees the management of lands and waters that FRLT has protected. This role involves property maintenance at FRLT’s Sierra Valley Preserve, including assisting in habitat restoration and vegetation management, assisting in livestock operations, site inspection and clean-up, and ensuring overall site-safety. This position will be working directly with the Sierra Valley Preserve Manager and as needed, engage with the public via visitors at the preserve or through FRLT events on the land.
