Senior Project Manager – Solano Land Trust
Job Summary
The Senior Project Manager provides leadership, coordination, and oversight of staff, contractors, and partners to manage Solano Land Trust’s protected lands in order to balance inclusive recreation and conservation goals. As the Senior Project Manager, you will manage, protect, enhance, and restore the conservation, agricultural, and recreational resources of Solano Land Trust’s lands through the initiation and implementation of natural resource management, restoration, and recreation projects, and the solicitation and administration of major grants and contracts.

Position Requirements Minimum Education, Skills, Experience
- Commitment to land management and conservation that is inclusive, relevant, meaningful, and beneficial to everyone
- At least 5 years of experience developing and managing complex projects and/or contracts
- Strong computer skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred Education, Skills, Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Ecology, Conservation Biology, Range Management, Environmental Science or similar field plus 5 years experience
- Understanding of concepts related to ecology, restoration, and/or public access
- Experience with GIS and GPS
- Knowledge of the habitats and species within Solano County
- Specific experience with monitoring and management of special status species
- Experience interpreting scientific data
- Experience working with agencies, community partners, and private landowners
- Experience with storytelling and other forms of communication (including public speaking) to positively affect behaviors, fundraising, and engagement
