Founded in 1988
Mission Statement: The Fallbrook Land Conservancy (FLC) is a private, nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to preserving and enhancing the rural lifestyle and natural beauty of our community through:
Land Protection: We currently protect more than 2000 acres of open space including the 1200 acre Margarita Peak, 10 other preserves, and over 950 acres of conservation easements.
Tree Planting and Habitat Restoration: The Save Our Forest group has planted more than 4,000 trees and our Land Management and Native Plant Restoration teams have completed numerous habitat restoration projects on our preserves.
FLC's Trails Committee maintains an extensive system of hiking and riding trails on seven of our preserves.
FLC offices and meeting room are located in the historic Palomares House at 1815 S. Stagecoach Lane.
Areas Covered: North County, San Diego County.
Protected: 2,000 fee title acres and 950 conservation easement acres
