Grassroots Advocacy Program Manager – California State Parks Foundation
California State Parks Foundation is seeking a Grassroots Advocacy Program Manager based in our Sacramento office (can work remotely from anywhere in California when not required to be in Sacramento). Expected starting salary range: $72,000 to $77,000.
The Grassroots Advocacy Program Manager implements strategies to advance support for California State Parks Foundation’s policy goals for the California state park system. Through relationship-building, education, events, and outreach, the Grassroots Advocacy Manager will advance the organization’s policy and budget priorities and deepen partnerships with local, regional, and statewide park partners; legislative offices; and the executive branch on behalf of California State Parks Foundation.
The Grassroots Advocacy Program Manager works closely with the Marketing and Communications team to create content and implement campaigns to inform and activate advocates in support of California State Parks Foundation priorities. The Grassroots Advocacy Program Manager also works collaboratively with other program managers at the organization to identify, engage, educate, and support park partners in advocating for the needs of the park system. The Grassroots Advocacy Program Manager also maintains comprehensive, up-to-date information on advocacy partner groups and individuals to track the growth of our movement for parks.
