The Finance Manager directly supports the Executive Director and is responsible for maintaining the balance sheet, including monthly reporting, investment accounting, banking activities, and accounts receivable and payable; the statement of activities, including contributions revenue, funds tracking, and expense allocations; and financial reporting including audit preparation, maintain and provide all required support for fiscal year IRS 990 and State of CA income taxes prepared by CPA, and assistance with Board of Directors reporting. The Finance Manager actively manages multiple principal-restricted and non-restricted endowment accounts, grants, and accounts receiving funds from development activities.

The Northern California Regional Land Trust (NCRLT) assists landowners, agencies, and other conservation partners in the voluntary protection of land and other natural resources. The NCRLT is a nonprofit land conservation organization that owns, manages, and holds conservation easements on more than 35,000 acres in Butte, Glenn, and Tehama Counties in Northern California. The current NCRLT management structure includes a Board of Directors, an Executive Director, a Deputy Director for Conservation, a Stewardship Coordinator, and a part-time, full charge Bookkeeper/Office Manager. The full Board of Directors typically meets quarterly, and monthly as needed. Board Committee meetings occur throughout the year. The Board determines policy which guides the strategic work of the organization. The Board of Directors, Board committees and Executive Director, collaborate to manage the Land Trust’s strategic plan, reputation, and benefits to the communities it serves.
