Founded in 1976, Mendocino Land Trust has facilitated the protection of more than 14,000 acres of land, provides public access to an extensive network of trails and engages the community in all aspects of its mission. The executive director will lead a staff of five others in pursuing Mendocino Land Trust’s mission of preserving coastal and inland properties, forestland and agricultural land as well as restoring watersheds and building and maintaining trails in Mendocino County. The ideal candidate will have experience supervising a professional team, a background in land conservation and proven success in fundraising, budget management and working with community partners. The director will work to implement the Land Trust’s strategic plan, maintain established standards of excellence and to secure national accreditation renewal for the Land Trust in 2022.
