Avalon Harbor Underwater Cleanup

Saturday, February 22, 2014
Calling all divers! Once a year, Avalon Harbor is closed to boats and open for divers to pick up trash at the bottom of the bay! The goal: clean up tons of manmade debris that settles on the ocean floor. Awards are given to the oddest, oldest and most valuable discoveries. The proceeds of the Avalon Harbor Underwater Cleanup benefit the USC Catalina Hyperbaric Chamber and the Catalina Conservancy’s Robert R. Given Fund.
