General Description: The Development Data Entry & Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing a wide range of administrative, donor/volunteer engagement support related to our Development and Communications projects with emphasis on data entry. Duties include facilitating direct mail and maintaining the flow of information and communications with donors/volunteers in our CRM (Constituent Relationship Management) database.

Duties include:

  • Direct Mail: Participate on the team working to produce all direct mail appeals, newsletters, and other general communications pieces. Print letters and prepare bulk mail postage for appeals. Coordinate with print vendors and mailing house.
  • CRM Database: Perform manual data entry/bulk data imports into the system. Support the production of acknowledgement letters for donors and the maintenance of constituent (donors, volunteers, partners, and program participants) information as new records are created. Pull reports to support communications and development goals, solicitation mailings and analysis of fund-raising program effectiveness. Complete tasks associated with maintaining the accuracy of constituent data.
  • Events: Participate on the team working to plan, organize logistics, execute and follow-up for all BSLT events. Track RSVPs and answer questions via phone or email for potential attendees.
  • Relationship Building: Support relationship building efforts by accurately capturing constituent information, interactions, and acknowledgements in donor database, providing acknowledgement phone calls, and occasionally representing BSLT on hikes with donors.
  • Administrative Support: Prepare new donor packets and mailings for individual donor follow-up. Scan documents and file electronically as needed. Support Director of Development with a variety of tasks related to accomplishing our development goals.
  • Other duties as assigned.
