Conservation Project Coordinator- California Farmland Trust

The Conservation Project Coordinator (CPC) is responsible for administration and stewardship of farmland conservation easements aimed at protecting agricultural land.  Primary duties include: coordinating with staff, consultants, title companies and others to conduct due diligence; monitoring and ensuring compliance with project deadlines; assisting with preparing grant applications, baseline documentation, and other technical documents; reviewing land transaction documents; and filing and recording documents in accordance with internal policies and accreditation standards.  This person will also be responsible for coordinating annual monitoring for easement compliance and providing administrative support to the  committee responsible for reviewing transactions. As a member of a small team, this position will also be called on to assist with other activities, such as events, general administration, and communications efforts as needed.
