This is a part-time, temporary, non-exempt internship position that reports to the Communications Manager. Hours will average 27 hours per week and may be increased in the future. The schedule for this position will be flexible and include at least three to four days per week, effective ASAP through March 2024.

At least one day per week, ideally Tuesday, must be in the office. The position may be extended beyond March 2024.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Assist with graphic design (both digital and print) and video production.
• Assist with planning, creating, and posting content for digital and print media, including social media, e-newsletters, web pages, blog posts, print publications, and press releases related to Save Mount Diablo’s mission and work.

Compensation: This is a paid internship; compensation is $19 per hour.
