Scope: The Sierra Club California Associate Director is responsible for the management, planning, coordination, and implementation of Sierra Club California’s renewable energy, transportation, industrial decarbonization and forestry campaigns. This position will oversee planning and implementation of state legislative and regulatory campaigns that produce just and equitable solutions and advance Sierra Club California’s goals in the California legislature and state regulatory agencies. They are responsible for the direction of all staff activities to accomplish the goals and objectives, including the supervision and management of necessary staff.
Successful candidates will have experience managing, supporting, and mentoring staff, as well as knowledge of environmental policy at the state level. The position is based in Sacramento, CA and the starting salary range is $90,000-$96,000.
