The California Conservation Corps’ Watershed Stewards Program (WSP) has a rare opportunity to join the WSP management team. There is a full-time, permanent/benefitted state position now available in their Region 1 Fortuna office for an Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA)/WSP Program Coordinator I. The final filing date is July 30, 2021.

The WSP Program Coordinator coordinates the day-to-day operations of the WSP program. The WSP Program Coordinator daily works with two Team Leaders, and regularly with 22-44 Corpsmembers advising and guiding their performance in the program. Working in the Fortuna Office, responsibilities center around educational program development, event planning, training delivery, and mentoring Corpsmembers. Under the direction of the WSP Program Manager, the Program Coordinator is responsible for performing the following duties:

  • Team Leader Training, Support, and Mentorship
  • Corpsmember Training, Support, and Management
  • Program Support, Recruitments and Grant Writing and Reporting
