Join CCLT

Thank you for your interest in the California Council of Land Trusts. We hope you will join us as we work to increase resources for protecting and stewarding California's land and waters, building strong laws to keep these resources protected, and raising awareness about the public benefits of conservation!

Depending upon your organization and circumstances, you can participate in CCLT in one of several ways:

• Land Trust Member - These are nonprofit organizations whose principle purpose and activity is the direct protection and/or stewardship of land and water. Your organization must meet certain qualifications and requirements for membership. Land Trust Members enjoy a full and wide range of member benefits. • Provisional Land Trust Member - Organizations that meet the land trust definition, but are at an early stage of development.  Provisional land trust members enjoy all the benefits of full membership. • Public Agency Associate - Any local, regional, state or federal agency that supports CCLT's purpose is welcome and eligible. CCLT's services will keep your agency up-to-date with the latest information about conservation funding, events, initiatives and partner news.  Follow the link below to learn more.
• Supporter - Any individual, nonprofit organization, professional or corporate entity that supports CCLT's purpose is welcome and eligible. This includes individuals or firms that provide services relevant to land conservation in a wide range of disciplines, such as attorneys, financial planners, appraisers, and consultants. CCLT's benefits will keep you up-to-date with the latest information and bring your services to the attention of potential clients around the state. Follow the link below to learn more.
